To be honest, if Ace were revived I wouldn't drop the manga. However, although I like Ace, I would expect Oda to give me a very good explanation if he made a decision like that.
I think Oda would be able to give Ace a new role and new DF/ability in the story, because Oda has given a good foundation to almost everything done in the manga, but ofc, that resurrection could contradict everything that happened between MF and the time-skip regarding Luffy. It would take drama away from Ace's death, and many might stop taking the manga seriously.

Many will tell me that Ace's death served Luffy's development and is fine, but I will never agree that Oda killed him, least of all so prematurely. But Oda decided so, and has hinted more than once that Ace will not come back to life. I hope Oda will show a few more things about him apart from his Wano story and everything we already know.
