I've heard quite a few criticisms over many parts of the Greed Island Arc, from it's length, to it's plot, and I was wondering, what are some changes that you guys would have made to the arc in order to make it better?

Personally, I feel like the way the Phantom Troupe were handled this arc pretty lame, I would have had them do a little more.

Well nah I think it was good written Togashi has generally a problem this excessive explaining it doesn't allow a fluently story and battles are interrupted by it

That's generally arc wise it was amazing like all arcs of HXH

I have problem with this question ...
plot is created base on 2 major factors
- the idea
- the execution

we need to change the idea in order to change the execution here
cause in fact the execution is legit for the idea there is not much thing to add

I think the best thing I could do is to make it far shorter ... that would be the only legit way of improving the story
or maybe adding some of the more relevant characters to the plot ... Zodiac maybe

I don't think the villain was the main issue
that arc wasn't about Hero Vs Villain

maybe if
1 - in chapter 1 Gon wasn't interduced to Kite
2- Kite was the main villiain

it was better
but again ... the ending wouldn't be the same ... the plot would become more interesting but not as good

Togashi is a fucking great writer.
one should not simply think it's easy to "fix" his story :)
