Perona was last seen leaving Dracule Mihawk's evil lair castle to search for her Captain, Gecko Moria. Don't tell me you forgot about best ghost girl?



What has our favorite floating stuffed-animal lover been up to? I think she reunited with Hogback, and brought him to Moria/Blackbeard.

I believe Moria and Blackbeard are going to roll up to Wano with Zombie Rocks, Zombie Kaido, Zombie Whitebeard, and Zombie Ace (reuniting ROCKS with a living, starving Big Mom)

One problem. Moria needs his mad surgeon, this corpse-loving freakshow (Boarbelly Hogback), in order to make functional zombies:

Hogback was last seen with Moria and Absalom after Marineford.

If Perona is seeking out Moria, what is Perona's narrative purpose in the New World? To reunite Hogback, the missing member from Moria's crew, with Moria, allowing him to form Zombies once more. Wouldn't be surprised if Blackbeard got Moria on board by threatening the rest of his crew, either.

This is an amazing theory. It's so dark, and really sets up the EoS to be violent and tragic. It makes sense with Doc Q being associated with plagues (zombies). Gives Mihawk a reason to team up with someone, too, and bring him into the plot. I like it a lot.
