The intro scenes are giving question marks all over.

Can't sense the shark's attack? Something huge, and definitely had the intent to aim & destroy.
Oda wasn't aware that he fails all three characters : FS user, a CoO specialist, a Fishman Helmsman.

Didnt save the girl in distress? When almost all arcs is him saving females left and right.

The first scene can be fixed with the SH doing a party, then the shark sneaks attack them. That's a good example of caught off guard without trashing the SH.

The second scene can be fixed with him prioritizing Nami's safety over the random girl in distress.

Dont think its bad, just become a bit too long, expecially with the York plot that was kind dragged a bit.

Also, with the chapters of Shanks/Teach/Garp it really made us want to see soo many other things besides Bonney/Kuma/Saturn plot

Egghead was never good just one piece arc which is mid at best.... When you look at it people mostly liked events outside egghead... Flashback was good but even that got dragged and some people instead started hating it.!
