General & Others When Imu is revealed pleas make him Madara

#2
Regardless of how great Imu ends up being I don’t think they’ll ever be the same as those guys

Madara, Aizen, and Dio were all established either at the very beginning or very early on in their respective series

Imu was brought up for the first time like 800 chapters in

Blackbeard is a much better example

Imu is more like Yhwach or Kaguya

While villains like Madara and Aizen are certainly fun (Madara was the one saving grace of the awful Naruto war arc), I would prefer if Oda steered away from this archetype, simply because it always feels like an asspull when they get defeated, and I'm okay with never experiencing another black Zetsu situation for the rest of my life.

Oda don't make villains like Aizen and Madara, not talking about writing quality

He likes his villains fallible, Doflamingo for example, is scared of Kaido, Kaido himself was defeated many times, Kaido drunk crying

Aizen and Madara just keep their "cool face" and non stop winning, even when they lose its " all part of my plan" until they are truly defeated. That makes them badass and cool etc...

But Oda don't write such infallible villains. He makes them more human.

As others have said imu falls under yhwach/Kaguya archetype.

BB is like dio
I always thought Yhwach was an amazing villain, Kaguya is trash though

You know Madara was eventually power lifted in the Last Movie and Boruto?

Imu can be different, imagine an alliance of marines, pirates, revolutionaries etc…. All fighting this big bad and he just blitz through them, kills important characters and seems like they can’t be treated.

Then bam, Luffy awakens this OD haki and beats his ass with a large punch, destroying the red line in the process
