It's extremely difficult.

I really like some metal like Manowar, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Helloween (before the change in vocalist), or some more melodic or orchestral rocks like Dream Theater, McAulay Schenker Group, Nightwish.

I also like Phil Collins and Genesis, The Beatles, Sting and The Police, Aerosmith, Lionel Richie,

In the jazz branch, i like Bobby McFerrin, Al Jarreau, Fourplay, Ella Fitzgerald, and Angelina Jordan (current female singer).

But

In the fantasy genre i like Miki Higashino (Suikoden), Michiru Oshima (Legend of Legaia), Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears). All three of these legendary games were of 1990's, so the 1990-1999 comes the close second.

But even if it's extremely difficult, i choose 1970-1979 as the victor. Since it was the time Yes released what i feel as the pinnacle of music, like "Soon" and "Onward". I mean what can i think about something like this. It's as if it's the definition of beauty itself, a masterpiece.

Um, yeah that was my point. Early 2000s = 2000-2010.

most people will pick the period of their childhood.
I enjoyed punkrock then, so obviously I pick 2000-2010.
from a musical standpoints try the 1800s.

2020/2021 has the best music, because we still have music from the past
Like when you look at it that way... nowadays we don't really 'lose' music anymore. Thanks to the internet any music from any decade is just a few clicks away.
I'm listening to this right now
and I would've never believed that one day I will be able to listen to one of my childhood songs so easily
