I'm aware he joined them to find the fruit, but still he was their underling for decades and he knew there was a chance things would stay that way because his fruit he just couldn't picture himself being strong enough to have a fair shot at success. Are there people in other fandoms where some members are wholly/partially disowned by the fandom or two opposing groups within the fandom? Like @nik87 is generally accepted as a legend in the Zoro fandom here but some Zoro fans/wankers have called him lik (idk the reason). Or like Erkan seems to bring some embarrassment to the BB fandom which other fans are sometimes uncomfortable with? I remember Kinyagi was getting some heat (might be just for fun) from the Admiral fans.
