Star Wars for sure. the mix of Western+Samurai+Sci-Fi is incredible.(the best thing about Star Wars in my opinion)

Light Sabers, Stormtroppers and ships designs are much more cooler

John Williams themes are iconic

I didn't played Hogwarts Legacy, but Jedi Fallen Order is pretty cool

Rounds 1-12 I give to Star Wars but I will give Harry Potter one good point.

It didn't get turned into a beaten up, dead horse franchise through a garbage sequel trilogy and a cavalcade of 1/4 baked, streaming shit-shows.

The Star Wars Sequels fucking sucked too, Rise of the Skywalker has to be the most stupid movie i've ever seen

JK Rowling is also either a horrible person or just super stupid, putting all that stuff about slavery and the House Elves enjoying being slaves, like wtf?

I still watch a ton of Star Wars stuff, i just never got emotionally conected to it as much as some of the characters from Harry Potter

Star Wars is the most overrated series of our times, tho I understand the impact it had on fictional movie making back when it came out. That said, they are good movies for a past era, that’s how it is with the fiction genre.
Not that the current garbage we have now is better, but the early 2000s was peak fiction.

Harry Potter has a much more interesting and immersing plot, this is no competition imo
