General & Others Whitebeard and Big Mom were already captains

We knew big mom was a pirate and captain previous to joining rocks but the chapter also confirms the same for whitebeard. Gloriosa was captain of the kuja pirates like the rest of the empress but we don’t know if they followed. It was potentially the same case for some of the rest as well.

As for who was potentially with them
Big mom has streusen and you can even see him below whitebeard and the fish guy on page.
Rocks disbanded 38 years the same year she gave birth to montdor meaning she had 30 kids at that point. Some if not all of them potentially traveling with her


As for whitebeard
Based on perospero’s words to Marco both might’ve been members during the time as well

They don’t need to be full on rivals for perospero to hate Marco tbh
Tho yeah perospero probably started hating Marco more after rocks tho when they were all fighting for territory in the new world

Maybe so. But Marco even years later was still an apprentice.
If Whitebeard was a Captain then, his initial top guys were Rakuyo and Whitey Bay.

Yeah they were probably with him even pre rocks too
It’s dumb but rakuyo being his top guy because he’s the only one sitting besides wb would be funny

Rakuyo gets subtly highlighted a fair bit, wouldn't be surprising if he is the Perospero of the Crew.
In Wano he's next to Whitebeard, against Roger Pirates he's leading in the middle. In Marineford, he's the only non top WB commander with a small back and forth against an admiral. Even later in the Payback war flashback panel. He's a highlighted part on Marco's side.
