They're both pretty bad but with Kubo I'd say it's worse with the male characters while it's the opposite for Oda

I’m not sure who is worse but I notice it more with Kubo’s later work. Especially mid TYBW, during March of the Zombies.

Which is also when he was horribly sick but it’s still a little annoying after awhile.

With Oda I can see it but it doesn’t define a character as much, for me.

A lot of his expressions were more manic, Animated or smug. Uryu rarely dips into smug and the other expressions are totally alien to him. Good way of differentiating them

I'd say the bigger problem lies with Oda making his most important female characters look like the female MC. With Bleach the most important characters don't look too similar

Oda had to force big mom to forget she was able to use CoC in order to make it semi believable for law and kid to throw her out of the castle.

Kizaru got one shotted 2x in a row by haki clad attacks.

Doflamingo is fodder to any EoS character.

Katakuri is a haki specialist who will become a yonko and definitely have ACoC by the end of the show


Cracker, like doflamingo, is fodder to any EoS character and got NEGGED by aokiji.

Caesar "won" vs luffy at the same way that zoro "held" fujitora, by their opponents barely trying.

All gorosei are haki monsters with advanced conquerors with the weakest of them(saturn) having strong enough CoC to make fodders' heads explode.

Even with G5 luffy wouldnt have against kaido without ACoC because kaido is HAKI MONSTER.
