In wano, we were introduced to the god DFs, starting with the hito hito no mi model:Nika. With Oda introducing one member of the one piece pantheon, many fans wonder if there are more gods that exist in the one piece world. I believe there are and I think the next one will be the god of war, who we will meet in elbaf.
In little garden, we were told that the people of elbaf believe in a certain God and that this god is responsible for much of their customs. Dorry's words seem to indicate that this god is the god of war. I have read the official translation and even in that, he refers to him as the god of war.
Overall, I think it would make a lot of sense if elbaf, which is said to be the strongest country, had a King with a God DF. This would explain why a yonko or an admiral hasn't just conquered elbaf already.
I think it is possible that this god is based off the Norse God, Tyr. The giants do seem to be based off Vikings, and in the wikipedia page for Tyr, it says that in certain sources, Tyr is described as the son of a Jotun.

I think the theory above is the most likely choice for who the god of war is, however I do have an alternative theory.
That is, the god of war is Nika
Look at the spear Nika is holding in the silhouette. That spear looks very similar to the spear of the hindu god of war, Kartikeya.
I think its possible Joyboy came to elbaf, did something big and important, causing the giants to worship him as the god of war. The legends of joyboy still exist to this day in elbaf, they just consider him the god of war instead of the sun god. This is a possibility, but I think it would be a bit odd, as we were told that Luffy is the sun god and the warrior of liberation. I guess war could tie into liberation, but Luffy being the god of war just doesn't fit imo.

One last theory is that Shanks will steal the god of war DF and become the god of war, in his bid to reach one piece and become pirate king. Again, I don't think its very likely, but imo its worth considering.
In norse mythology, Tyr has only one hand due to Fenrir biting it off. So that's my Shanks x Tyr connection. Its pretty week, but Oda seemed to have this god of war thing planned from the start, so I wouldn't be surprised if he went this route with it. Also from a personality stand point, Shanks does have a connection to war, as he was the one who stopped the marineford war.
