Arlong is the only one of these bums that got any sort of relevancy post-east blue aside from Buggy, that should tell you how much more relevant he overall was. Hell, he literally got a sequel via Hody. A shittier, drug-fuelled one, but hey, that's more than you can say about Kuro or Krieg.
