Only three enemies left, that could give Luffy a competitive fight. Which will be the next big villain? Luffy could face Imu any chapter now, but that won't turn out into a drawn out battle. Just a teaser.

Will the Strawhats follow the Holy Knights to Maryjoa?

Will Luffy go do Pirate Island to free his grandpa?

Will he finally avenge Ace, by beating Akainu to a pulp?

Akainu seems to make the least sense right now, but I am convinced that will change soon. He will finally fight back on all fronts, as he declared he wanted to do. He will announce a public execution of individuals close to Luffy. With that the course will be clear. New Marineford. Zoro and Sanji are fighting Admirals soon.

BBP for the final villains!

Akainu is already defeated by bureaucracy & red tape.

Imu is an annoying regen merchant with a god complex.

BB has personality, a secret agenda, is Luffy's opposite and has a small crew which is ideal for SHP match-ups.

BBP vs SHP on Laugh Tale would be 🔥🔥🔥

first let's get Shamrock and Garling out of the way and then we can talk about the final confrontations
but it looks like it will be Imu, which might demand a collaboration between Luffy, Akainu and Teach to take down

Looks like Imu but Oda's been throwing so many curveballs lately that I honestly have no idea.

Akainu -- how? The Marines aren't involved atm.
Blackbeard -- how? The Blackbeard Pirates aren't involved in Elbaf and there's still Shanks.

Broke:
- BBP is beaten before the One Piece is found.
- Imu is the FV.
- Akainu gets beaten along the way.

Woke:
- BB absorbs Imu and becomes the monster from the mural.
- Akainu and Luffy have to put their hatred aside to work against Imu paralleling Rocks vs Garp and Roger.

Bespoke:
- Logia Awakening allows you to turn into a god.
- Akainu becomes the OP version of Darkseid and turns into the physical embodiment of Order to contrast Nika's Freedom resulting in an ultimate battle of ideals.
- Awakened Kizaru 1v2s post-Mihawk/Imu Zoro and Sanji, while Awakened GB unleashes the full power of nature with his Black Blade and Fuji successfully commits tax fraud.

Imu is getting taken out first. There is limited time left for BBP to take advantage of Catarina's ability to assume Saturn's appearance. I expect Blackbeard is already making his move, I think he is behind the fires in the Holyland as of 1149.

Akainu will defeat Dragon and be defeated by Sabo. Probably during the prophesied Great War.

Imu goes down this arc.

We will learn the most if not the all that happened in God Valley.

Imu's history will be revealed. Joyboy's face will be revealed. BBP's relationship to Rocks will be revealed. It's going to be be a massive lore dump, but not the complete history of the Void Century, origin of the Second World or the Third.
