I’m locking in my Blackbeard vs Mugiwara match-ups. Thoughts?

Luffy vs Blackbeard: obvious, Light vs Dark

Zoro vs Burgess: Battle of the right-hand mans. Zoro previously cut steel. I think Burgess with end up with Jozu's Diamond Fruit, and Zoro will finally cut diamond.

Nami vs Caterina Devon: Nami is known for her beauty and Caterina hates beautiful women

Usopp vs Van Augur: obvious, sniper battle. Superior firepower vs grit and intelligence

Sanji vs Shiryu: Battle of the Invisible Men. Sanji will have to defeat an invisible swordsman

Chopper vs Doc Q: obvious, doctor vs plague dude

Robin vs Moria: A woman who had nothing and found a crew vs a man who lost his entire crew

Franky vs Vasco Shot: Booze vs Cola, lessgo, dat's hot

Brook vs Laffitte: A corrupt sheriff vs a former soldier

Jinbei vs San Juan Wolf: Battle for the title of World’s Strongest Fishman

Yamato vs Aokiji: Ice Ice Baby. Yamato fighting Green Bull is teasing her fighting an Admiral in full. Kuzan used his power to destroy a peaceful nation (Ohara): Yamato used her power to save an enslaved nation.

Vivi vs Alvaro Pizarro: A pure-hearted princess vs a corrupt king

To be honest, I could see Jesus facing sanji as well but I'd prefer Avalo Pizarro. Devon could face any of the female crewmembers and the 10th Titanic Captain has a number of potential opponents.

Nami has historically fought women as her enemies (Doublefinger, Kalifa, Brulee, Ulti, etc. Meanwhile, Robin has fought plenty of guys. Also, while I like Robin more personally, Nami has been presented as very beautiful through the series.

Moriah is a real pirate hes not going to join under Blackbeard after he killed one of his men. If he did there would be no hype of seeing him vs Jenbe 2.

All of BBs men are those who “won’t work under others” I don’t think Oda included Moriah being invited for no reason. Also it’s not weird to anyone else that Moriah was invited right before jinbe officially joined?

Prime Moriah is different from his current self. I feel there’s a good chance Blackbeard whips Moriah back into shape the same way Whitebeard strengthened Ace. Constant fights until Moriah officially joins.

Note: I’m aware Lafitte is chief of staff however Shiryu was placed in the rhm art page and is portrayed as the stronger one, plus he’s a swordsman of the second ship much like Kozuki Oden was for WB (the crew in general feel like a dark version of the WB pirates imo). For Pizarro of the Impel Down recruits (who I believe are the stronger crew members) he was the only one of the prisoners aside from Shiryu that was not wearing a prisoners outfit, by design they immediately stand out. Pizarro also expresses interest in leading the crew which highlights his ambition, him and Sanji were both royals (king and prince) of north blue kingdom’s.
