1079 we finally got a glimpse of Shanks' power.
1080 we finally got a glimpse of Garp's power.

So who's next?

Biggest wildcards are obvious:
Will blackbeard rekt law next?
Will mihawk rekt an admiral next? Will CG crush ID and free doffy + thousands of criminals shaking the world?
Will Dragon rekt an admiral next?
Will luffy and zoro finally remember their powers and clap the seraphim?
Will Sabo show up and do something?
Or... Filler York chapter?

Going by the streak of Luffy's idols (Shanks --> Garp), the next one is most likely Dragon.

But if we get Cross Guild or Kizaru or Teach screentime then I also don't mind as well.

But in reality, it's probably gonna be Kuma's flashback or York's flashback lmao.

I don't think Dragon will intervene but he will sink most of the marine warships and disrupt the seas with his wind DF and advanced Conqueror's to stop them from going to Egghead Island and using the Buster Call. This would pave the way for the Straw Hats and Vegapunk to escape.

Kizaru and Saturn will have a shook moment when no marine warships are present and will be left in a vulnerable position.

This is definitely going to be an Egghead chapter. Oda has consistently cut back to Egghead after we get a world chapter.

I'm guessing we get 2-3 more Egghead chapters, then we cut to Elbaf where something will be happening to Shanks(Blackbeard pirates, Loki, Cross Guild, etc.)

As unlikely as it may seem I think there is a possibility that it will be Dragon next. Shanks for the pirates, Garp for the Marines and Dragon for the Revos and they are all connected to Luffy.

Most likely though it will not be Dragon but more BB/CG/Admirals etc.
