Future Events Why a Fight between Sanji and Perospero makes sense Narratively.

To clarify, I dont think this is going to be the last thing Sanji does, I've made a thread saying how his end game is with Queen.

But A Fight between him and Perospero may happen first the pieces are set in place already. We shouldn't rule out the possibility of characters getting multiple fights in this arc.

1. In Chapter 1006

We see Sanji asking the fodder where Momonuske is, the fodder says Dome Entrance.....

The very next page Cuts to the Dome Entrance and it shows Carrot and Wanda beaten up by Perospero.......

Sanji is going to see Carrot and Wanda beaten up and this is what will trigger Sanji. We know how Sanji feels about men who beat women.
2. Oda has always loved the narrative of Sanji saving the Damsel in distress.

3. Oda had Perospero be the one to trap the Vinsmokes with his Candy Ability.
And Had Sanji be the one to free them from his ability.

4.Sanji is a chef and Perospero is a candy man, which also fits the food based theme that goes on in Sanjis fights.
This on top of the fact It has been hinted that fire deters Perospero's ability yet nobody has defeated Peropseor in the story yet. That means someone who uses
fire abilities is going to take him out,

5. The Final Chapter of Wholecake island

Sanjis Connection to Pedro is the real key here, We know Sanji feels bad about what happened to Pedro. And he blames himself for what happened. Carrot tries to comfort Sanji but she herself breaks down, Now she finds out she is powerless to avenge Pedro. The writing is on the wall, this fight is definitely happening, some may not like it, but its one of those things that most likely will happen given the narrative.Sanji is the one who will avenge Pedro. Its gonna come full circle.

All of these make sense.
Why? Because this is not a "Sanji centered arc", nor Sanji's fight needs to have some deeper story meaning.
If any of these attack someone Sanji wants to protect, be scabbards, Momo, any woman, Sanji will engage in combat with them.
No need for deep lore, or background connections, or whatever. While these CAN exist, they are not mandatory for Sanji to fight someone.
Only time when Sanji's opponent had a "deeper" meaning was Gin, in freaking Baratie.
Kuroobi was one of the 3 strong officials from Arlong. Sanji was one of the 3 strong officials Luffy had at the time (yes, I include Usopp).
Mr2 stole usopp's googles and was chasing Vivi. Sanji went there to intercept him.
Satori attacked him, luffy and usopp. Sanji fought back.
Jabura was gonna kill Usopp and later Nami, Sanji at the rescue again.
Absalom was on the rape train story with Nami. There goes Sanji.
Wadatsumi? Made Nami fall with her airbags on the floor. Sanji got pissed.
Vergo? attacking Tashigi.
Doflamingo? attacking the crew.
Oven? attacking Chiffon.
etc.
I don't really get why do people suddenly demand some background connection between Sanji and his future opponent (if there's actually gonna be any at this point), but it is not mandatory by any means. Most likely he will make some last minute save.

I agree with a lot of your reasoning and if Carrot doesn't get back up to settle her business with Perospero then Sanji seems like the best bet. Sanji felt regret about what happened to Pedro and counters Perospero pretty well but I think the fight would be more significant for Carrot. We'll see and I know a lot of people think Carrot will stay down despite Perospero leaving her alive but I think Oda will have her face Perospero again (with help of course).

Sanji vs a Calamity seems more likely at this point but Sanji beating Perospero then a Calamity would be fine though I'd be a bit surprised that Oda waited this late in the act for this when most Straw Hats have their one and only match-ups. I'm fine with most options for Sanji (King, Queen, Perospero). The man will face whoever Oda wants him to in order to rescue another character.

He's flying 6 level? I dont know if thats the case he has bounty higher than Snack who's a former sweet commander, and after Katakuri and Cracker he's factually the most prominent Big Mom crew member.
