Not only in terms of power level, its also in terms of story so Oda has a soft spot for Heart Pirates;

1- Only Law's no.2 Bepo gets an equally big panel as Zolo, while not even Ray, Sabo, Beckman, Marco, others are all shown in equally same size panels:



This doesn't show superior power over other no. 2 just that shows Bepo and Zolo are Oda's favorites over other no. 2 characters.

2- Law has an extensive story related flashback during Dressrosa arc, while Kid doesn't get that.

3- Law is a D.

4- Oda didn't highlight where Heart Pirates are strongest until they fought BB Pirates, they are stronger in sea battle.

5- Oda gave a power up to Bepo via Strawhat Pirates Chopper, the connection between the 2 Pirate crews are clear, its not remotely close with Kid Pirates.

6- Bepo was shown in Law's bounty poster, similar to Usopp was shown in Luffy's bounty poster.



7- Law saved Luffy's life 2 years ago.

8- Law is smarter as he wasn't captured by Kaido unlike Luffy and Kid, he doesn't directly attack like Kid and doesn't make himself an open target, which is much difficult to deal with.

Heart Pirates are like a reflection of SH Pirates, and Oda choosing them to lose vs BB Pirates is bigger than Kid Pirates losing.

There are also power level related reasons as BM mentioned Law's attack is stronger or Law showing advance Haki, and they are being stronger on the sea with their submarine that can dodge attacks from 2 Admirals, but power levels are not the main topic here.

I would so love the day @Shiroyru stops twerking for Shanks and enter a mental asylum when Teach kills him.

Oda deliberately made a future sight scene where Shanks witnesses Kid doing what Shanks condemns the most, "killing his friends", forcing him to immediately go for the kill.

Teach, on the contrary, is too reckless that Whitebeard outright mentioned it as his weakness. He almost never takes a fight seriously before getting hit first, although in Law's case it was thanks to bad footing.

Teach didn't even go all out despite taking an attack that broke Big mom's bones meanwhile that damn submarine was cheapshotting his ship from underwater, he dealt with both at the same time without even going all out without destroying half of the island, best I can say its low-difficulty but Law wankers are in delusion.

And yes Liroyru is still butthurt as well.

Oda obviously thinks Kid > Law, that's why Kid is the one who always lands the final blows and is the one whose name comes first before Law

Shanks is just that much stronger than BITCHbread who fought Law for HOURS and had trouble while even jumping Law with his crew lmao

Shanks had the bigger feat

Regardless of how you think Kid vs Law would go down, they were shown to have comparable durability/endurance against Big Mom. If Law is stronger, it’s only because he has better DF powers.

Shanks not only took out Kid in one move, he took out Killer with collateral damage. Killer who beat Hawkins, who captured the Heart pirates.

Meanwhile Teach couldn’t even take out Bepo.

Shanks saw how much destruction kid was going to cause by wiping out his entire fleet in 10 secs flat. So shanks went with an attack for the very intention of taking kid out plus the damned punk blew up on him. Blackbeard was just careless coming with only half of his crew while shanks had his entire army it was never going to go kid's favor. But he is inspired by the most unfortunate pirate in history. Still like him as a character though.

You say nothing about in terms of story importance, you just talking about power levels because you know Oda chose BB to take out a more important character than Kid.

As for the power level argument, its obvious from BM statement that Law > Kid.



Law was taking BM's Haki punches before Puncture Wille, and before that Law get up quicker than Kid before Big mom could go up to Rooftop, he hit her with Shock Wille.

Teach didn't go all out vs Law despite being weakened with Shock Wille, he didn't even destroy half of the island like he did vs Ace. Teach didn't show any new DF technique.

Meanwhile Shanks showed us his new techniques Kamusari and future sight, Shanks went all out for a weaker Kid.

Shanks took help from his fleet and Giants.

Shanks's fleet shielded him and distracted Kid. And Shanks asked help from Giants to beat a random ass ship.

If Teach find Kid instead, Kid could never land his attack on Teach, since Kid isn't as tricky as Law to catch him offguard.

Still after taking Law's attack that break Bigmom's bones, it only did a small damage on Teach.

Teach, Kaido or BM can be more careless because their durability and stamina is special.

Shanks can't be careless, so he goes all out directly.

Teach was hunting a submarine moving underwater, and he got hit by Shock Wille to weaken him, which is again to make things more equaled between Oda's favorite Law vs Teach. And he still hold back didn't even destroy half island like he did vs Ace.

Bepo and their entire crew with Submarine was already defeated Bepo just got a SH pirates plot power up since they are Oda's favorites, which is something Kid pirates don't have.

Teach didn't take help from Giants to take out the submarine that dodge attacks from 2 Admirals while Shanks took help from Giants for a random ass ship.

Another dumb clown who thought Aokiji wasn't underling of Teach now talks about power levels in a story related thread due to his butthurt. :suresure:

Teach wasn't going all out vs Law even after taking an attack that break Big mom bones, he didn't even destroy half of island like he did vs Ace. While Shanks goes all out by showing new attacks.

Just like Kaido admitted before after taking Injection shot, Law landed more blows by BM's admission with Shock Wille, and Law's silent technique landed last blow on BM in the end,







she couldn't call for help and tried to make noise and accidently hit the bombs because of Law's silent technique was still active on her longer than Kid's technique, Law also took out Big mom's final attack Misery before that.
