This is the usual Oda stupidity when it comes to villains. The destruction of Lulusia was a week ago.

York betrayed Vegapunk months ago and was working for the gorosei and giving them mother flame for months now.

Yet for no apparent reason, one day ago, the Gorosei wanted York and every Vegapunk dead. And only just now changed their minds by “Special request”

As in Imu changed his mind LESS THAN 24 HOURS AGO that he might in fact want more mother flames.

2. Didn’t know if York could make the mother Flame
