Gojo was seeing the friends he lost along the way

Sukuna is neither dead nor a friend of Gojo

He showed up in Jogo’s death vision and also Kashimo’s death vision. Why didn’t he show up in Gojo’s?
Maybe because he respected him in the end?
Who knows honestly tbf
Those death visions are too few to be called a power, yet enough of them exist for them not to be connected to Sukuna somehow

My take is that they're just Gege's way of giving closure to characters. Kind of like "life flashing before one's eyes" type of deal
Sukuna being there for Jogo and Kashimo may very well be because he was their goal (as an ally in Jogo's case, and as a dream fight in Kashimo's)

I think that the characters are actually in Limbo interacting with the real souls of people they knew, rather than it just being all in their heads. Nanami at the airport was talking about seeing Haibara right before his death, which is something that only Nanami himself knew about. Sukuna can visit them in Limbo because of his understanding of the soul

Gojo died without regrets unlike those two, if anything it was Geto who needed closure in that limbo state.

I don't think Sukuna would have interfered with Jogo and Kashimo's either if he didn't notice their regrets, he respected them enough that he wanted them to die more peacefully
