Questions & Mysteries Why didn't Kid and Law use their Awakening on the roof?

#1
Oda was seriously able to spit us in the face with the fact that they were able to use Awakening throughout, but he derogated them, because alas, it straining them, they only use it on the verge of death. Both of them were in plenty of position to use it.
What's more, they were even good quality on the roof, they weren't worn out, but of course it didn't look like they knew any more.

What difference would it make for Kid and Law? Increasing their offensive powers at the beginning of the battle would quickly deplete their stamina. They need to drain their opponents as much as possible before resorting to their most powerful attacks, which exhaust them rapidly.

As for Law, and the same goes for Kid, using their awakenings wouldn't prevent anything Kaido has done, especially in Law's case.

Many people praise what Shanks did to Kid, but Kaido did the same thing on the rooftop against Law. And people rank Law higher than Kid. Even after Wano, Law doesn't have anything that helps him avoid a BAGUA; his awakening doesn't provide him with that capability.

Let's not bring up their stamina as a counter-argument after everything they produced after Big Mom's attacks. It is unnecessary to talk about this any further.

Kaidou didn't do the same thing to Law that Shanks did to Kid, as then we wouldn't have seen him join Kid in the fight against Big Mom a few chapters later, he would probably have been asleep until the end of the story arc.

Kaidou Raimei's Hakke move only one-hited someone once, and that was Luffy at the very beginning of the story arc. Then this miraculous ability passed.

The same thing probably would have happened to Law if he met Shanks and not the other way around, but hey, Law is ahead of Kid in strength, just because. Why would I say they were equal against Kaidou or Big Mom when that's simply not the case? I think even Killer hurt Kaido more than Kid.

The whole ending of wano felt like an asspull. So many things crushed together, some too early, some too late. Departure wasn't clean, dozens of loose ends.
Don't expect basic logic for wano ending. Some men in suits probably told him to hurry up and he complied.

Lol, are you afraid to mention me? Of course, what Shanks and Kaidou did wasn't entirely identical. How can you assume that Kid wouldn't return after the attack in the same way Law did? Shanks needed the help of the giants to sink Kid into the sea, and Kid is a Devil Fruit user... He could very well come back after Shanks' strike, just like Law woke up after some time after Kaidou knocked him out. The difference is that Kid fell into the sea while Law did not.

How is their endurance not an issue when Law explicitly mentioned it in the chapter?
Okay, start by using your awakening that drains your endurance faster against endurance and durability monsters. Kid and Law's final attacks couldn't even knock out an exhausted Big Mom, and you want them to start using these moves against a fresh Kaidou and Big Mom? Good battle IQ. In the end, Kaidou or Big Mom will just tank all their attacks while Kid e Law they're lying on the ground exhausted. Just like it happened against an already tired Big Mom.

Kaidou Raimei's Hakke move only one-hited someone once
Luffy in 923, Law in 1009 (and didn't even hit him in the head), Yamato was still falling to her knees even though she defended herself.

Law >> Kid In terms of reaction speed.
A Kaido's Bagua would finish off Kid in the same way or even worse than what Shanks did to him. LOL

Every shonen has the weakest fighters using their all before the strongest ones do it.

He let the weakest(kid and killer) use their attacks on roof before letting the stars of the show aka the captains, show their skillset.

Zero evidence for this and you forget the manner in which in the Shanks/kidd interaction occured. Without blocking, he was hit with Divine Departure/acoc+ Damned Punk explosion + giants hakai. And we saw law get hit with thunder bagua. Kidd's durability is miles above law's. Kidd also ate plenty of named attacks from big mom. He ate an Ikoku point blank with blocking...he tanks thunder bagua as well.

Because Kaido and Big Mom were fresh, and Kid and Law's awakening took a lot out of them, because they weren't yet used to it. They would have exhausted themselves, and become useless, while at most would have mildly inconvenienced Kaido and Big Mom. That's why they waited until Big Mom was worn down before even attempting to use it, and even after using it against a worn down Big Mom, they still couldn't KO her with their awakening alone. So what would have using it against a fresh Kaido and Big Mom achieved?

Kid and Law only mastered their powers through the Big Mom fight. Before the fight they could barely use awakening.

ex. First time Kid used assign he needed Law to teleport him out. Second time, he didn’t need Law’s help.

first time, Law barely stretched his blade and was exhausted after one SW. With PW, he was able to reach the magma.

better ask why didn't Kid spam damned punk, since it's not an awakening and it's WAY better than his shitty awakening
likely because he didn’t have it then. My guess is he invented this technique during the fight.
