Questions & Mysteries Why didn't Law used Gamma Knife on Linlin?

#2
Why didn't he used his killer move on Linlin and instead choose to use his awakening that drain his power fast? 🤔
Is Oda nerfing Law again?
:choppawhat:
Because GK wouldn´t do jackshit, BM durability is build different and we see on Kaido how much it didn´t work.
Awakened moves are far better, it destroy the inside+having insane Ap, GK isn´t even close to Law current attack.
But im sure GK in awakened form will be show in the future, so the awakened GK goiing be very broken and op.

Kid = Law (more or less, Kid slightly stronger).
Kid has CoC, AdCoC in the future, but he didnt have Luffy's training for it and he was overall more dependent with his DF. So he gave him something equivalent to AdCoC, awakening.

And since everyone had their cool powerups, Law couldnt be less, and he won't have AdCoC because he does not have Conqueror's Haki so ofc he needed Awakening as well.
Gamma Knife was pretty much enough for this fight, but again, Law was nerfed (like the Shambles was retconed on the roof with the Haki stuff) because his fruit is too OP.

Real answer: Oda doesn't want to use the same finishers twice. Same reason as why Zoro never used Sanzen Sekai in Wano. He could have combined it with awakening if it wasn't strong enough.

Even against Kaido he gave an excuse of "I don't know how dragons work".

OP answer: They work differently

Gamma Knife = Radiation/Only does organ damage

Wille = Shock wave/Does blunt/bone damage as well

In terms of organ destruction GK is clearly more destructive. It literally tears your organs apart. But Wille also does blunt damage by breaking bones. In Dressrosa, Luffy all the blunt damage.

Gamma Knife didn't break any bones even thought it fucked up Doffy's organs. If Doffy broke any bones it was due to Luffy.

So you could think of it something like:

Gamma Knife - 10/10 organ damage 0/10 blunt damage
Wille - 6/10 organ damage 10/10 blunt damage

Law had already used Gama Knife on Kaido and it didn't do much damage, Gama Knife does internal damage and as we saw Law performed a much larger and stronger version of Gama Knife on BigMom 2 chapters ago which broke BigMom's ribs, last chapter he did an even larger and strongest version of Gama Knife, the puncture wille
(Gama Kinfe (on Kaido and Flamingo) << Gama Sword (on BigMom 2 chapters ago) <<< Gama Sword Island Size (on BigMom last chapter))
