Shouldn't the island have sinked?
Because the way it tilted implies that the Earthquake broke the surface of the island from the Mass that's connecting it with the Bottom of the ocean, and therefore it should have sunk into the ocean

Unless Islands float in One Piece I don't see how it could have stood still after that
