Couple of things. As I see that hurricane is an attack that doesn't even touch. So it isn't as strong as Shishi Son for example.

Zoro at 1010 was in a extreme situation that allowed him to unlock adv conqueror haki while using Ashura against Kaido. Not sure why he only scared with Enma(1 scar only) and why Kaido didn't knocked down at least. For me Oda will explain some bullshit about Enma power allowing Zoro to scar Kaido but was poor writing Scabbards knocking Kaido down and Zoro leaving a scar but Kaido still stood up. Even Luffy Red Roc knocked him down without leaving a scar.
