Why loki is the a good villain

#1
His best point was the contrast being thor

where loki is the schemer
and cunning

thor would be more brash and dumb something he learns to overcome to a degree when odin sends him to earth to learn humility living as a human shell. donald blake

This goes on and on
loki is hated by his father laufey for being a weak runt
thor is loved by his father odin for being a strong brute

And loki focuses on magic where thor focuses on brute force
consistent with loki being the weak schemer and thor the strong brute

Another thing great about loki would be his motivations
If your not aware in the comics, loki was tortured by odin for years having venom poured onto his face

This gives loki resentment towards his adopted father, something even brought up in more recent runs

Although they retcon
a unnamed son of loki's being involved even though that never actually occurred originally. they just added to fall in line with the mythology

which caused some sites to headcanon this son being the named narvi
https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Narvi_(Earth-616)

Even tho, the actual character based on that mythological narvi already exists
https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Vali_Halfling_(Earth-616)

He's killed by a wolf god, who's a relative of his much like narvi of the myths

but back on topic
this unnamed son is ig supposed to exist as motivation as loki which works but you know he already had kids which would of served that function like fenris and jourmandr

At one point. he got hoder
the blind brother of balder to kill balder

hate this retcon about hoder being the cousin of balder, it's so contradictory

And this was because of the ignorance loki's adopted family have given him

after balder and hoder die
he calls thor, his only son

showing that they never cared about him confriming his already held hatred for the asgardians
like when they laughed him out of a building

or when he felt isolated from everyone
