General & Others Why not kill them all at once?

The last Buccaneer alive, the last Davy alive, a Kozuki, a former Celestial Dragon who knows too much, and Mihawk who likely has significant origins, around a table in the very heart of Mary Geoise, why didn’t the World Government just plant a bomb and blow up the room? They had the opportunity to kill a member of an enemy family and wipe out two enemy races in a single blow

The WG, and by extension Imu, is kinda fair. So long as you are competent, useful, willing to work for them and not disobey orders, they disregard mostly everything else.
They did the same for Harald who was a giant and they still treated him like an honorary CD, and Garp who is a D clan member who they kept in the Marines despite his antics.

Yes, that’s true, but after Harald’s failure, Imu herself says that history never lies and that certain enemy kinds are incompatible with the World Government

And Evil Pirate wants to overthrow this nice ruler

Imu is an all powerful, godlike being. Except for Teach who is part of the prophecy, those guys are ants to him. On another note, it’s also good to keep your enemies close. He probably already suspected Teach to be a Davy even though he thought that Xebec succeeded in killing them all.

In all honesty. Back when they showed the 5 shichibukai meeting, Oda had half the clue of what he was going to do with them. As if Kozuki Moria was a thing back then + wasn't his name/grave hidden on an isolated island?

And then the Buccaneer stuff. You can't tell me Oda had this established back then.

Too speculative everything.

I’m fully on board with ur reasoning, the only issue is the "how" cause that bomb ain’t killing shit, even marine fodders surviving that with basic haki..Those 5 imo are basically unkillable if they worked together. And even if the Marines somehow succeeded, they'd take massive, deadly casualties that they can't recover from..
