Is it even confirmed that Roger was the strongest person in the world?
It seems to be still valid to assume that he may have become the pirate king for having the overall strongest and most skilful crew even though he himself was actually weaker than other people or equally strong to someone else, like Whitebeard.

Where is it written that Whitebeard got the title of the world's strongest man only after Roger's death? And was it immediately after Roger's death that he got the title, or many years after Roger's death? Was it directly stated that Whitebeard only got the title precisely because Roger died? Because if this is not the case, then it's still valid to assume that the real strongest man may have died as well around the same time or after Roger died.
And even leaving this aside, there's also the possibility that Whitebeard only got the title of the world's strongest man when Roger died because as long as Roger was alive it was still uncertain which one of the two was actually the strongest. So this still doesn't confirm that Roger was the strongest; Supposing that the two were really equal and also stronger than everyone else, then it makes sense that one of them had to die in order for the other to be recognized as the strongest man in the world.

Even if he became the most powerful man in the world, that power isn't necessarily directly related to his physical strength, and most of his power may have been in the crew and ship that he was the captain of.
In any case, that text is literally not true, since he clearly did not attain everything the world had to offer. He did not even have health, for example, and was going to die of a disease.
