Speculations Why wasn’t Doflamingo invited to the Holy Knights?

We know that the WG is willing to raise anyone sufficiently strong enough to “godhood” in order to let them join the HKs. This is what would’ve happened if Loki accepted, and it’s possible that Gunko was in Loki’s position before (since she’s never been introduced as Saint or given a surname), but accepted the invite unlike Loki.

So how come Doflamingo, an ex-CD who even went as far as to deliver his father’s head to them as a show of solidarity, was never invited to the Holy Knights? Was he not strong enough?

You're saying this as if Imu or the Gorosei themselves are going after Doffy, when that obviously isn't the case.

He’s going to be added to the Holy Knights. We now know they’re out recruiting and likely going to lose some manpower this arc.

I think the only reason they’ve been hesitant is because Doflamingo’s family insulted all the Tenryuubito by denouncing their godhood. I can imagine they want to punish this behavior as much as possible rather than reward it, even if Doflamingo had no control over that decision.
