When King uses his karyudon attacks, he coats his blade with haki and releases the flame from his blade which is drawn similar to magma and takes the shape of a dragon. Why did Zoro compare this attack to magma?
Because unlike other attacks king has used, Karyudon isn't just fire. It is fire combined with CoA. By combining CoA with fire, King is able to solidify the flames, giving it a consistency more similar to magma.
Overall I think this is a pretty advanced technique, more-so than anything we have seen any other flame users do. In the future, I think we could see other flame users use similar techniques. Sabo is definitely a big candidate due to his CoA portrayal. Also this would allow him to have a chance against akainu(not that he would win, regardless).
Linlin is also another candidate, although at least for her, I think we might see something even more crazy as she could potentially combine flames with ACoC.
Lastly, I think Sanji might also be able to do something similar if he were to learn ryuo. Will he? idk
