So, I thought of this as a joke and it currently holds no place for serious discussion (so no need for insults and questioning my intelligence) with many flaws to be worked out, but here it is:

Clone-Clone fruit is the only devil fruit that has a duplicate/clone. Mr. 2 has the duplicate fruit while Kurozumi Higurashi has the other one.

'Has' is the keyword. Higurashi became a clone of one of the Scabbards and time-traveled to the future. She left a warning message to Orochi before jumping.

The original scabbard was left back in Wano. He/she continued to live his/her life and eventually became the witching hour boy.

After time-jumping, Higurashi gave a message to Orochi (but didn't show herself to him) that scabbards have returned. Or, she may have given the message to Kaido directly. Either way, it caused Kin'emon and others great deal of trouble when they were heading for Zou. Jack worked out the fact that Raizo had to be on Zou because he wasn't at Punk Hazard or Dressrosa.

It is also possible that the fight between Neko and Inu was also initiated by Higurashi in clone mode and she managed to procure a vivre card of Zou through this.

So, according to this theory, Kiku is actually Higurashi in clone mode. Real Kiku is the witching hour boy.

Holes:
  1. There is no reason to belief that there can be clones of any devil fruit. (Biggest hole).
  2. There is no reason for Higurashi to not show herself to Orochi. So, theoretically Orochi should have more confidence in knowing that scabbards have emerged from past.
  3. There is no reason for Witching hour boy to remain hidden when the Kozuki symbol is being spread by Kin'emon and others, if he/she is indeed the real Kiku.
  4. This theory doesn't explain Raizo thing very well.

honestly I think this theory is possible. Oda has made it to where no character can logically be the traitor.

Whatever is going to happen with the traitor is going to be something nobody thought of. People will probably shit on theories like this but stuff like this is possible. See: time travel, which almost nobody thought would even be possible.

I vacillate between Kiku and Kanjuro, although I’m less certain about the latter’s motivations...I pointed out in another thread that Oden all but forced her brother to leave Wano, returned without the only biological family she ever knew, was expected to just brush off the same because her master had willed it, and then watched the same man make an asshole out of himself for half a decade when he should have at least been working to save their country. People have betrayed their loved ones for a lot less, both in fiction AND real life.

Kiku would be dope. We need that kind of pettiness.
