Ever since the introduction of his character, Midd has proven time and time again to disappoint everyone. His failure to do anything that would be considered a legitimate feat makes his character laughable. With Onigashima bridging the entire post-timeskip together and bringing an end to many story lines, will Midd finally die and make his first impact on the story?

I and many others consider Midd to be a letdown of epic proportions, his death would redeem him slightly. At least him dying would prove that he was never meant to accomplish anything and is simply a shadow of Luffy.

The possibility of him dying has always been on my mind because he really does feel like Luffy on a path of misfortune instead of a true rival to strawhats because they are far superior to the Kid pirates it’s not even funny. A tiny but touching backstory w him and Killer could be nice.
