He’ll start off with his own agenda and be forced to team up with Luffy’s forces. I think it’ll mirror Crocodile’s journey in Marineford nicely.

Ngl could be a good 'official' introduction for Imu (which is the EoS villain) but is a shame to destroy Doflamingo the best villain till now imo like that (imo)

Oda hasn't invested more plot in any other villain than Doflamingo. Only Blackbeard will surpass him in that regard.

You can tell he's itching to bring him back, but it'd be disrespectful to Law for him to be released so soon. It might be done by Final War, but there has to be some redemption from his part, because Law/Corazon will mean nothing.

I don't think so. Unlike Crocodile or Moria, Doflamingo's problem is that there are no loose ends left with the character. If he were to return, Law would have to defeat him in 1vs1, although I think Law has already moved on with his life and there would be no point in avenging Corazon again.

The likes of Bon Clay may escape unless Oda does not care about happy endings. The way Luffy and Mr. 2 parted was quite thought-provoking.

So what better occasion for Doffy to escape too during that event. The dynamics being unknown for now.

Crocodile should ultimately be good enough for Doflamingo not be anymore the only game in town. This is self-intuitive. Doffy and Crocoboy make for a superb combination. Crocodile's logia will remind Doffy of Dressrosa, Alabasta is quite oriented in that direction too.
