They’re aiming for a year after the strikes end, so while it depends on a bunch of studio executives having a major change of heart when they don’t even have the required equipment for such a switch, it should be pretty quick after that…considering how much story is left, there’s no real possibility that the manga ends within that timeframe :robinsweat:

Oda is now rushing OP so it will be over in about 3 or 4 years. Fights will last one or 2 chapters max, still a shit ton of running around to see though
You think Oda is rushing? Maybe rushing the good parts like offscreening fights but the plot is dragging on as much as ever imo.

Luffy meeting Bonney and vegapunk fighting lucchi learning about the Seraphim and now fighting kizaru could have been done in half the time.

Yes I think so. You could say that he is rushing the good parts and dragging the bad ones.
He is dropping small hints here and there. All the revelations will be done in one arc, Oden's flashback style. A few fights that doesn't last long with mid feats for everyone and that's it.
As long as he can draw G5 and have fun, it's fine for him.

Hmmm this is speculation as OP has always been about slow buildup. The things we think are important to show on panel that get off screened are actually serving a secondary role to bigger things. I think it will be a domino effect of hype towards the end since we been teased for so long and Oda knows that. It’s story telling that we as fans are gonna be rewarded for later I believe. Even what I’m saying here is speculation tho

We realistically should get s2 within the next couple years in that Same span of time we may still be on elbaf if it turns out to be a longer arc
