Sure the rules aren’t as well-defined as Nen in Hunter X Hunter, but I think that’s fine. The fights in Hunter X Hunter sometimes feel more like something from an RPG where everything is determined by quantifiable numbers. That works for Hunter X Hunter, but it’s not the kind of thing that would fit a pirate manga like One Piece imo

Same way they fought Crocodile or Enel, find a counter for them. This makes the fights way more interesting than "My haki is stronger than yours!"

Also, I am not totally against haki, but DFs should have remained the main power system, with haki being secondary.
