Although Kid had a lower bounty than Shanks, he was beaten in such an overwhelming way that it’s nonsensical for Kid to have a bounty 75% that of Shanks. Will Shanks get a bounty raise for no diffing a 3B bounty pirate?

Shanks one shotting Kid indirectly scales him against BM and Kaido.

He’s clearly above BM by a significant margin. On par with Kaido at worst, and possibly even above him.

Well, goverment wont know it was a 1 shot.

What could increase his bounty, is the intel. They know Kidd had a road pon, so they know Shanks is closer to the one piece, aka, raise his bounty. He also is with the giants, maybe more allies so bigger crew = more dangerous.

Could increase for these things, not because he defeated Kidd.

I don’t see any reason for Shanks to get a bounty raise. It’s like BB getting a new bounty for beating Law after just having the current one revealed.

He’s bounty is set and a benchmark for Luffy & Teach to surpass.
The RHP and Cross Guild are gonna be out of the race, so only the Strawhats & BBP will rise to the former WB and Roger heights.

No, it's expected that Shanks would beat Kid. One-shot or not, I don't think the government takes such into consideration, they're not rigorously powerscaling, they're indicating threat levels and applying fitting values on pirates' heads.

He should...by the WG standard he is a 3 billion bounty threat which is within the yonko range. It shouldn't be something crazy like another billion added but he should get a boost.

It depends on when Shanks will be connected to the story again
Only bb is considered a risk. If they don't collide, Shanks may survive, and the bounty will increase
Also, Oda is very obsessed with Team 5 Billion and if Shanks can get close to WB and Roger in bounty....for me it's the greatest W.
