In the latest chapter, we saw that Arbel the Wildfire has a deep respect for Kaido. When Zoro asserts that the Beast Pirates have reigned long enough, Arbel rebutes that by saying that Kaido's reign hasn't truly begun (he isn't the pirate king yet and he will be the pirate King).
Arbel and Kaido's bond goes far back and mirrors Luffy and Zoro's. Just like with Luffy rescuing Zoro from Ax-Hand Morgan, Kaido liberated Arbel from Punk Hazard. In both cases, Captain and Right Hand went on to defeat their opponents. Kaido and Arbel rampaged as a team in Punk Hazard and strolled out. Whereas Luffy and Zoro defeated Ax-Hand Morgan and the marines operating under his most recent commands. There's a bond through salvation and camaraderie here that goes deep for both of these pairs.
Luffy and Kaido gave their respective right hands hope to continue going on when it's clear both were in a state of hopelessness.
Oda is very apparent with this dynamic to contrast and compare these two crews. But there is one more crew that fits into this rhyme too. The Blackbeard Pirates. Shiryuu of the Rain was recruited by Teach while his death sentence was postponed, allowing Shiryuu to leave the prison. Only, I think the entire premise behind Teach recruiting Shiryuu differs in how Kaido recruited Arbel and Luffy recruited Zoro. Unlike with these examples, Marshall D. Teach did not directly free Shiryuu of the Rain and not once was Shiryuu of the Rain's life in need of direct rescue. In contrast, Shiryuu of the Rain was the one who had to save Marshall D. Teach and his entire crew.
Likewise, Magellan freed Shiryuu to handle Teach. Indirectly, you can very plainly say that Teach's actions were what allowed Shiryuu to be free. Although Shiryuu of the Rain offer Magellan his hand in helping stop Luffy's escape crew well before Marshall D. Teach appeared. The wheels were already in motion by the time Teach arrived and unlike with Luffy & Kaido's recruitments of their Right Hands, Marshall D. Teach's approach was incredibly hands off. He was not the one to liberate Shiryuu. He did not have a hand in bringing about any dream for Shiryuu.
It's even more standout that Shiryuu offers up the idea of outright going their own ways if Teach's plan fails.
When the Blackbeard Pirates and the Straw Hats fight their mirror matches on Raftel, I think we're going to see a right hand that has no respect for his captain. Someone who has disdain for Teach and is fully self centered. I think this would be the first right hand that could show zero loyalty to his captain too. And I think this is all possibly because Teach and Shiryuu's meetings were almost the inverse of the classic formula Oda pulled twice now between Captains and right hands.

Tl;DR
- Kaido & Luffy share a parallel when it comes to recruiting their right hands.
- Arbel and Zoro were both given hope and physically saved by their captains.
- Arbel & Zoro were both shown immediately fighting side by side with their captains, the beginning of their relationship being cemented.
- Teach & Shiryuu do not share this parallel with kaido & Luffy, as Shiryuu proposed his own assistance to Magellan before Teach arrived.
- Shiryuu was released by Magellan and had to save Teach instead of the other way around.
- Shiryuu immediately suggested abandoning Teach if he couldn't deliver at Marineford.
- I think Shiryuu will be the first Right Hand to have disdain for his Captain and will be a full dark mirror for Zoro.
