1 question but referring to 2 different gens

First being
Will the 11 supernova, younger marines (Smoker, Koby, etc), Sabo, and everyone else that can potentially lead the next gen surpass the previous ones?
I.E.
The rocks age, roger age, and great pirate age (the current one)

Second being
Will there be a generation afterwards to surpass them?
Will their be a better stronger pirates, will zoro pass down his title, will the pez become mafia king, etc.



Imo to both i think both will happen. I think the upcoming upcomers will have what it takes to surpass the ones if the past
And afterwards i think theyll be people one day that will even surpass luffy and the strawhats

No, not really. Big Mom, kaido, Crocodile, Moriah etc are scared of the world. While in the past you had Pirates like Roger, Rocks, Whitebeard, Shiki, and Marines like Garp and Sengoku roaming the seas.

Only Shanks, and Mihawk are not afraid to go wherever they want from the Middle Generation/Great Pirate Era

The only Pirates that are not scared roam the sea are Luffy( Crew + Grandfleet, Kid( Crew) Law( Crew), Shanks and Mihawk.

Luffy and Blackbeard will reach Prime Non Sick Roger/Prime Whitebeard Level.

BB ife he ate 3rd DF he will be Stronger Than WB/Roger/Garp by Decent Margin
Luffy Will Surpass WB/Roger/Garp
Zoro Will Surpass Mihawk/Shanks/Rayligh/Oden
Sanji Probably will Surpass Some admiral and Yonko Like old BM and Current BB (He Probably will Defeat an Admiral)
Koby Probably will Surpass Some of Current gen Admiral

for other i don't think they will be Able to Surpass Current Gen Top Tier let alone Past Gen Top Tier Like WB Roger Garp Sengoku and Shiki

Most of Sn won't Become Stronger than Normal YC

New gen will certainly surpass the gens from the past, however once the One Piece is found the hype for the upcoming gens will simmer down, this means the only chance for that would be to trigger the sons and the sons of the sons to have something to fight for. It's mostly about that.

This generation has to surpass the last.

For one, there are more Emperors than ever before or at least, more ruling figures in the New World than the last.
There's the worst generation meaning 11 Supernova - there has never been a generation with so many Rookies as far as we're told.

This generation has more competition or more obstacles.

Finding One Piece = Accomplishing what the last generation did. Fulfilling One Piece is surpassing the last generation. Luffy is going to not just find One Piece, but accomplish it. This generation will do what no other generation could do.

One Piece would have been accomplished. There will be nothing to surpass.

There will be no next generation (continuation of the series) since there'll really be nothing to surpass.

One Piece is not like Naruto where the goal of the story is:
Become strong, and defeat strongest guy.

One Piece is not about becoming the strongest and defeating the baddest guy, One Piece is about bringing about or creating freedom. That's not something that can be done again when it's already done. All that can be done is build on the freedom that this generation have brought into fruition.

no and no.

One Piece seems to have an upper ceiling as to how high one can rise.
the means to get there are different, but the outcome is the same. pure haki, df powers or a combination, no matter.
the peak of strength remains more or less the same.

the current generation will at some point reach the peak that the previous one reached aswell and that will be it.
I am strictly talking about personal strength here.
Luffy will obviously accomplish more than the previous generation. or a greater goal at least.

what set Luffy and Roger appart from other crew is that Luffy will have 2 top tiers in his crew and not just 1. himself and Zoro.
he will also be allied with other top tiers. possibly Law or even Kidd (etc.).
Luffy will also have multiple nations behind his back.

will the current generation surpass the old one in strength? no.
will they get more done? sure.
future generations? there will not be much left to do afterwards. only personal goals.

Yes. In the previous generation, three pirates that rule in the new world were Roger, Whitebeard, and Shiki. Current generation will be Luffy, Blackbeard and Kid. Luffy will surpass former pirate king, Blackbeard will be surpass Whitebeard as Shanks stated and Kid will surpass shiki. Zoro will be stronger than Mihawk and Ryuma and Usopp will be stronger than his dad.
