If the world changes too much the idea of pirates may not make sense, if the normal world is the night then how will things be after the dawn comes?

But they could do contests or stuff to declare pirate kings so yeah it may exist for fun

The world is going to change but somehow piracy or adventure might endure that change, the rise of an archaeology focused society that needs to unveil all the mysteries that lye on the bottom of the sea, history and the rest of themes that had been silenced by the WG for centuries, I wouldn't be surprised if Robin is more relevant to the incoming world than Luffy, it feels Luffy is destined to die EoS because all those moments where it was stated Luffy was shortening his lifespan... I would like if Luffy actually died against Kaido but won't actually die until everyone is happy, like Kuma or Bucciaratti from JoJo's. That would rise the meaning of the moment after Wano when Luffy told the SH his dream

Do you think Luffy will be the last pirate king or will there be another in the future?

Now many people believe the concept of pirates will disappear once imu gets taken out but that idea was always ridiculous the two aren't mutually exclusive one can exist without the other so the idea that there won't be any more pirates once imu is gone is a flawed idea in fact once the puppet master no longer controls the strings the puppets will go more wild than before
