I've always wondered where Luffy will set up his head quarters. It's obviously not Wano because only thing Luffy left there was a flag and the shattered dreams of carrot and Yamato fans. I mean it's not to far from elbaf where Shanks is currently ruling. The island inbetween them if there is, is probably where Law fought Blackbeard. If Luffy is to fight the WG it makes sense for Luffy to have the advance technology that the ancient kingdom had sense they are probably going up against an ancient weapon. Kizaru and 100 ships are coming and that's about how much the WG would send to protect an island under their control. Also it setups the final war perfectly because CP0 is probably going to spill the WG's plans.
It also has a lot of outfits and Oda being a little on the fruity side it's easy to tell his plans revolve around outfits. If the arc is going to be on an island the strawhats usually have outfits that match the island. For example in fishman island bubbles suits were an essential item, on dressrosa we had old man disguises and wano bdsm gear.

Egg head seems as good an islands as any and if the world government gets it they will probably destroy all the useful technology dedicated to mankind. Also I'm always up for more crew mates but honestly I don't want to see stussy the five disfunctional stella's,vegapunk and bonney(wouldn't mind her actually) riding on the sunny. Of course we have the obligatory is the strawhat fleet going to show up.
Heres the tricky part. When franky blew up that one island the narrator came in and said the disaster had a name. he also said it would have unprecedented effects on the future. the next time the narrator said that is when luffy got his fleet. So the events are obviously connected. Regardless of what ever happens I hope the WG get's the sephraim and new generation px's because they're going to need them.
