Speculations Will Urouge be in Elbaf.

He would really fit there. Me and Seatonnes had a theory that Urouge will be the one to test if Luffy is worthy of being Nika or just to see it for himself, I would not be surprised in the slighest if Urouge prays to Nika and his religious symbolism revolves around him.
Urouge said Blackbeard is the eye of the storm though, so it was implied he would go to him but clearly that doesn't seem true yet? Unless he is a BBP and will be in Elbaf with Lafitte who Oda has forgotten this whole time or something? For whatever reasons/they could be doing there?
Urouge can make himself much bigger and god knows what else his unnamed/unknown DF can do now, given all Bonney's DF can do now suddenly. I wouldnt be surprised if he could turn into Nika somehow too lmao.
But seriously, Enel is popularly theorised to return in Elbaf and since Don Krieg and Gin appear to be part of Blackbeards crew now too, maybe they could face Urouge or are teamed up with him depending on what Urouge's situation and allegiances are?
Urouge is such a wildcard and I pray the stupid theory that Burgess killed him offscreen and took his DF isn't true, their powers are different for a start unless Oda retcons that too.
I don't see him as a foe to Luffy personally but he did face Luffy briefly in Stampede so idk, Oda might be planning something there?
I just have no idea what Oda has planned for Urouge anymore but I wish he would make him reappear again, this is ridiculous. Both him and Fujitora are major wildcards and have been AWOL for many years IRL now too.

There are only 2 possibilities for him, imo:
This is a really good theory. It might not be a coincidence that Urouge is always seen smiling.
- He plays an important role in Elbaf, seen how his Devil Fruit can make him a Giant and is very centred on combat. Also, Elbaf might have a Sky Island on top of the Big Tree, maybe Urouge's whole journey is about reaching it.
- He gets somehow involvend with Blackbeard, be it in cooperative terms or in antagonistic terms, seen the remake he made about Teach after Marineford.

This is a really good theory. It might not be a coincidence that Urouge is always seen smiling.
I feel like Urouge is either going to show up on Elbaf, or somewhere else pretty soon. There is some speculation that we could end up back in the Sky Islands after Elbaf. So, if Elbaf's World Tree is actually the "Summit of High West" that Gan Fall talked about, we could meet Urouge back on a Sky Island.
There really aren't too many islands left in the story. So, either it's going to be Elbaf, a Sky Island, or maybe Lodestar.
I very much doubt Oda would save Urouge for Laugh Tale, since he doesn't strike me as being THAT important. And I'm not sure if returning to the Sky Islands is a very likely development or not. We don't have a lot of reason to go there, other than MAYBE to bring Enel back into the story. So, Elbaf and Lodestar are the two most likely places where we could see Urouge again.
And given how Urouge is associated with "religion" by virtue of being the "Mad Monk", I think Elbaf is the most likely place we'll meet back up with him. Elbaf seems to a place that worships Nika. And it's probably where we're going to find out a chunk of Nika lore. I think it makes sense for another "religious" character to show up during a arc where we're likely to learn about the Giant's religion.
As for being a friend or a foe? I'm betting on friend. If only because, at this point in the story, the Strawhats already have so many enemies that I'm not sure if we need to be adding the the rogues gallery. Which doesn't mean Urouge won't fight the Strawhats. I could see Urouge "testing" if Luffy is really Nika or not.
...Or Urouge could just end up getting jobbed by Enel, if Enel is coming back into the story. We've had some hints that those two have history with each other. So, maybe Urouge could get defeated by a powered up Enel?
