Kratos from the new GOW is weaker than the version of himself that slayed Gods Lol. And Link has defeated a Godlike entity in BOTW. Geralt and Sekiro have slayed beings that are up there as well lol.

Bro depending on how you analyze statements, Kratos can be anywhere from Planet level to Universal.

Yeah, Kratos should comfortably take it.

However, if we exclude Kratos, BotW Link should win against Wolf and Geralt as well. Wolf and Geralt have some good abilities but ultimately, they cannot deal with an opponent of planetary threat.

Time stop and arrows erasing your existence, plus superior speed via Flurry Rush - Link would defeat them with that.

What do you guys think if it was ALttP Link or Majora's Mask Link instead? Both characters have confirmed statements to be put on universe level at least due to the fact that

Also, composite Kratos vs composite Link would be quite interesting, although I ultimately see Kratos winning against Link.

Well, video game characters are often restricted how limited the gameplay is; and obviously you won't see characters casually wiping out countries, continents or even planets (unless there are cinematic moments showing this).

Therefore, the game's lore is also important to determinate their feats.

In case of Zelda, you can find a lot of stuff in Hyrule Historia and something like that - i.e. Majora's powers being universal and affecting an entire parallel universe.

Btw, did you know that Calamity Ganon freaking moved the moon near the Earth whenever there is a Blood Moon? That's crazy lol.

Oh man, i was playing the new Final Fantasy 7 remake a few months ago, was using Tifa to smash up some small ass enemies and shit, i look her up and apparently she’s solar system level, but with in game feats that are building level at most.

Well, the Fierce Deity God is clearly a power surpassing Majora's and even if Link did not show those feats, we could scale the strongest Links around their level.

I can't really talk about Kratos; I do not know that verse that much.
However, Majora being universal is also backed up by him creating his own dimension as well.

I mean, sure we can compare gameplay feats but imo, it is quite difficult to estimate them properly since all 4 games do play quite differently.

Yeah even editors of game commented on that part.
They said they want to make it look like that, so that game is not a cake walk for players but if you read God of War comics or even pay attention to lore you can see he is on that universal level.

First example of World Serpent who depending on how you analyze Greek Mythology is said to have wrapped himself around the entire world. Now what is that world? You can take that as just planet or you can take it as all of the existence, the entire Universe.

World Serpent and Thor's battles also shook the 9 realms which in itself is Universal feat.

But Baldur knocks World Serpent out easily and then Kratos has been kicking baldur's ass through out the game. Though Kratos and Baldor is relatively close, Kratos is obviously stronger. And this is nerfed Kratos without Blade of Olympus.

Worth noting literally all of existence was destroyed after Kratos defeated Zeus. Same Zeus who was able to capture Atlas who was according to lore was able to "Lift the World on his shoulders" but it is also up to debate the meaning of world in this situation. Do you take the "world" as all of existence of just a planet.

Hence Kratos is bare minimum high planet level but can be argued at universal.
