Update: Due to popular request will amend bracket rules to remove subordinates and troop numbers. Fortunately I don’t think they changed anything for the first two rounds anyway lol. We will incorporate subs and such into later rounds to spice things up. We will keep brackets as clean 1v1s with equal troop numbers for now, though I do think it only makes sense to allow the generals their own personal troops from their own states.

The rules:
-The rules are simple, vote for whoever you think would win the scenario presented. We will try to do more scenarios than just straight 1v1 army battles to keep it interesting.

-Winners will be determined by poll vote, so make sure to vote and convince everyone that yours is the one true agenda!

-I will try to do as much as I can to keep these tournament scenarios interesting, but definitely let me know if you guys have any cool ideas.

-You are allowed to use historical spoilers in discussions, but spoiler tag them and people don’t have to read them if they don’t want to.

I used a tournament maker app to keep the opening brackets random, but for some reason Duke Hyou and Yotanwa got immediate advantages. I do not know why this is but far be it from me to quibble about my own parameters. Here are the brackets:

Brackets

Make sure to read each commander’s subs and armies!

The Bracket round is a straightforward army vs army battle on flat terrain.

Lady Karin may forgive me but as of now, I'm picking Hakuki.

I think Karin is up there with anyone or almost anyone and I'm super hyped to see her in full action when we get to Chu. She's Chu's Shouheikun/Riboku in terms of role and Hara can do anything he wants with her power level, really.

But like I said as of now, Hakuki is the safer choice. Imo the manga hypes him up as the strongest of the old Qin Six.

Hakuki, extreme diff.

I give my vote to Hakuki pretty much on the man's hype. This bloke was undefeated back during the Golden Age of the Greats. High diff victory. I don't think Karin would be a pushover against him.

Karin puts up a fight. Her forces have a lot of hype but yeah Hakuki is in the Goat tier, it needs a matchup advantage to entertain that Karin may win a battle where the odds favour her.

Especially on flat terrain catching Hakuki off guard is almost impossible. Renpa stated no matter how sexy the bait was Hakuki would not jump on it instead he uses reverse bait and fucks you over.

I have the impression that Karin is an impatient general and against someone that's even more cautious than Ousen it's no good.
