Would Renpa have cared about Kouen?

So we've seen that Renpa loathed and yet also worshipped the Q6, but we also saw that he never really bothered for Duke, Gokei, Gaimou, Kanki, Ousen or Gekishin.

Do you think this means he also wouldn't have cared so much for Kouen, given that he was never truly a consistent rival?

I think Kouen, given his epithet, was just stationed far away from Renpa's field which was most likely just at the borders between Zhao/Qin.

Similar to how people like Bananji are nobodies to their own homeland only because they were stationed on its outskirts.

We know that the other states go out of their way to avoid full blow conflicts with Chu, although we know that fights did happen, like Kanmei vs Oukotsu and Kanmei having fought battles against all other states except Yan. But that being said, I still don't think there would have been many occasions for a Kouen/Renpa clash and thus neither do I think they were "consistent rivals".

In contrast, Renpa in particular kept on mentioning the Qin Six. Zhao's Great Heavens consistently fought against them. Renpa talked about the "golden era" created by the GHs and the Qin Six, those Qin "bastards" were the ones to keep his flame completely alive and he grieved their departure from the world. Heck, he talked about them even to Gaku Jou shortly after deafting him. They clearly were his rivals.

That being said, Renpa obviously knows who Kouen is and has huge acknowledment for him at least (as we saw when he was talking with the Chu king). Kouen is probably someone like Gakuki was (I think) - that would be an enormously powerful commander who wasn't a consistent rival to the Qin Six/3GHs.

In retconned maps, Zhao/Chu aren't even touching eachother. Whether that's because they changed the bounderies of the states or it really is a retcon, IDK. The anime narrator did actually say that Riboku/SSK may have done just that but it's not been said in the translated chaps we find.

Renpa never really mentions Gakuki either so I don't think they ever fought or clash in the past. Perhaps let's say they did clash a few times in the past but the occasion was too rare so Renpa focused on Qin 6 instead.

When Gaimou got introduced, he obviously knows about Ouki and Kyou but he never heard of Duke Hyou. It could be that Duke never got stationed in Wei often or Gaimou wants to focus on groups of GGs like Qin 6 and Zhao 3.
