Shanks has a sword named Gryphon, not because it's filled with Gryphon Devil Fruit.
...It's because as a ultimate tribute to Miura, Oda make Shanks has a CoC mode that absorbs Griffith himself from Berserk universe, as the result becoming GRIFFSHANKS. Each time he uses basic CoC blasts, instead of ordinary effect of fodder knock, GRIFFSHANKS creates THE ECLIPSE ITSELF to the OP world.
Of course once GRIFFSHANKS uses AdvCoC-Godhand application,
He can break the space continuum itself open, allowing him to save Coby back then in MF, surpassing Saitama level once he becomes serious in spatial destruction.
