He never mentioned a single time he would kill him and doesn't look so angered enough to likely kill him in the future revardless of the former point.

Ehh! Zoro already claimed to bite King’s throat out if it means winning and that should result in death lol. I know it won’t happen, but he still had the resolve to do so. Even with Kaido he didn’t really have any reason to get angry as he did after the live floor held him off yet he got angry, Zoro made it seem as Kaido tortured for months xD. It’s simply inconsistent

He only kills when he needs to. King isn't the first guy that threatened to kill Zoro and thus, he won't be the first guy to die because of a threat. Zoro's business is with Kaido; bar threatening him, King barely did anything important to Zoro.
