The Kusanagi can cut and injure diamond hard substances, which in OP has a top tier durability. X drake’s body and haki don’t come close to that.
Orochimaru’s futon jutsu great breakthrough was described in the data book as having hurricane gale winds, so he can toss Drake around with that.
And the most damning is the cursed seal. A 1/10 chance of survival that requires a strong body to maintain. You might argue Drakes body, as an ancient zoan, can handle it. I don’t think so. Senjutsu is unique and I believe it takes something equally unique to handle it

CoO allows X Drake to bypass Hiruko’s traps and Drake can easily smash the baseline puppet.
Third Kazekage solely depends on how Sasori fights with him. X Drake’s CoO again should make avoiding ranged blows simple enough. If Sasori gets cocky and has the Kazekage attack at a closer range — as he did in canon — Drake smashes it.
Drake doesn’t clear the 298 puopets however. He only needs 1 scratch to be fucked and I’m sure zoan regeneration can keep him fighting for longer than the usual person, I don’t think it saves his life.
Sasori wins high diff.
X Drake actually wins this one. Big shocker. Haki coated attacks will break Hidan’s scythe and with CoO, X Drake should be able to dominate CQC.
Slashing and cutting attacks should also work well in dismembering Drake.
X Drake takes it mid difficulty.
Kakuzu cannot lose this ImO. He’s not a very strong Akatsuki but he’s a good match up for Drake.
Gian bypasses conventional defenses.
Domu has diamond hard defenses, he tanks anything Drake has.
Futon + Katon combos should supply moderate damage to X Drake.
The only problem here is OP characters have good tolerance to elemental attacks, so it’ll be a longer slug fest.

Man… Drake has no shot here. Among the lower Akatsuki, Deidara is the worst match up. The explosion span is going to be too much fkt X Drake and C4 will CO him.
Like, I don’t think Drake can do much more than survive and be an annoyance.
Deidara wins mid diff.
Basically a logia that haki cannot hit—and considering Konan can summon her paper bomb nuke at any time, she ultimately wins. But it’s a lot harder than Deidara. Her paper bombs haven’t been displayed as potent like Deidara’s bombs, so Drake’s durability and regen will be issues.
Konan high diffs.
CoO can counter conventional genjutsu and Itachi’s 3T arsenal isn’t heavy hitting. Fireball jutsu and Kunai won’t drop Drake.
But at any point does Itachi use a Mangekyou technique, he’s down.
So Itachi wins mid diff.
Unfair fight. Kisame’s suiton makes this a stomp and if you remove it, he gets stomped.
Huh… Pein might not be as effective against Op characters with—generally speaking—higher physical stats.
Animal path? No problem
Asura Path? Only ranged attacks are issues
And these are 2/3rds of the offensive trio.
Ultimately Pein wins because he can revive any of the paths the Naraku
and because Deva itself can’t be beaten.
Low diff is probably the limit here.
