Theory You need divine departure or a black blade to damage an immortal

In wano, the pinnacle of durability was Kaido and BM, who’s durability was so high that they were seemingly invincible.

Then Oda introduced ACoA and ACoC to damage them.

Now you have these immortal characters as the final villains: Imu and the gorosei.

Saturn has the ability to seemingly regenerate from anything. Even Luffy’s haki G5 punches can’t do lasting damage on him. So far, there is no known way of damaging Saturn.

My guess is that Oda will make the pinnacle of haki abilities: divine departure and the black blade, the key to defeating the gorosei and Imu.

Divine departure is an ACoC slash that damages without cutting or leaving any external wound. Basically internal destruction ACoC. Due to it being Roger and Shanks’s move, it’s likely the pinnacle of ACoC.

The black blade is the opposite. Whereas DD does purely internal damage, the black blade is the strongest CoA technique wielded only by the WSSM Ryuma and Mihawk.

I think Garp’s galaxy impact is basically the punch version of divine departure. Luffy and Koby will get this. This will allow them to fight Imu and Walcury(god of justice), respectively.

Zoro will obviously get a black blade to fight V Nasujuro.

Also think Dragon will have galaxy impact and use it against Ju Peter(Jupiter = Zeus; Dragon has storm powers).

Also obviously hax will be able to damage the gorosei. I think Sanji will get some hax fire ability to incinerate Mars out of existence. And I think S-Bear(aged up by Bonney) will repel Saturn into space.

2024 and man still thinks Luffy's crew is gonna beat two of the Gorosei. :gokulaugh:

Lolda kept them away from beating the Warlord, the Yonkos, and the Admirals, but two of them is apparently gonna take down two of the Gorosei. :rolaugh:

The fact some of them have scars , means they can be hurt permanently , but that's yet to be figured out how.

No, most likely the only things that can really kill Im are the Nika df power and its opposite aka the moon god that will be awakened by the yami yami (most likely) and that is why we first see Im slicing Luffy and BB bounty posters while he doesn't give a damn about Shanks or Mihawk. Also if divine departure was really a threat then Roger would have been a threat / acted differently.

Also Divine departure doesn't seem like the best attacks Roger or Shanks can do, I don't dare to say they are pretty casual but it is true they unleashed them without much effort on a samurai that jumped Roger and on a punk who wanted to chew more than he could eat. Imo they are not among the best attacks Roger or Shanks can use, let's say not in their top 3 attacks.

Sure

my point was just that the technique uses a highly advanced form of ACoC, which is why the attack doesn’t cut despite it being a sword slash.

That this form of CoC is probably the pinnacle of CoC.

Kaido is the Strongest and feared by even Gorosei for a good reason
That's just because you can't reason with Kaido, as Law said... Kaido just is the most dangerous and volatile Yonko.

Gorosei can't make "deals" with people like Kaido, but Shanks, Big Mom, Whitebeard... They're all ears when it's about business (Big Mom) or peace (Whitebeard, Shanks).

I hope this gets clarified soon, but I think the whole bullshit about Kaido, it's because if the dude comes to your door, he won't knock first but try to annhilate you directly.

Actually Big Mom only received internal damage that made she drop the haki coat he had in her skin so Kid could harm her with whatever weak shit he pulled off.

We didn't saw CoC coating attack though.

Headcannon. Maybe Oden haki allowed himself to not be cut. Same with Kid and Killer.
