Your Medieval Fantasy RPG Story (Game Thread)

Welcome to my creation! As some of you already know, I'm done with Mafia Games on the forum (and in general), so today I thought why not making my own game? I spent a few hours to create an entirely new game by using nothing but my own creativity and knowledge about Roleplay Games and Medieval Fantasy.

To start your Story, you must first select your character's race and gender. Your character's name will be your WG username. If you change your WG username I will also update your character's name in the first post of the thread where I will iteratively update all character progresses. You can only have one character at the time. Use the command /NewCharacter + selected race + gender in order to create it.

Races
Human
Elf
Demon
Orc
Dwarf
Gnome

Your character starts at LV. 1. You can level up by using the command /Adventure.
This will allow me, as Game Master, to show you a list of available Adventures catalogued in order of difficulty and rewards. You must pick one at the time and I will craft and post a writing piece as soon as possible, which will feature your Adventure progression. If the Adventure is too long I will take a break and post its continuation as soon as I can. Adventure length, interactions with NPC and missions found/accepted by your character, combat elements and other dynamics will be based on a combination of your initial adventure choice, character name, race, gender, level, stats and equip + Random Number Generation. You will spectate your Adventure's progression every time as I build it for you. All you have to do is to select your Adventure and spectate its progression... unless something goes wrong.

To be impartial and for the overall sake of transparency, I will not have a character.

If your character dies during an Adventure you will have to wait 24h, I will craft and post its Adventure continuation after the hours expired and the revival is complete. So pick your Adventures carefully! If you want to drop out from an Adventure you can use the command /AdventureOut, you will be able to start a new Adventure immediately after by using the /Adventure command. Note that you can use the drop out command only if during your ongoing Adventure your character died at least 3 times. You will still have to wait 24h from your last Adventure death in order to use the command /AdventureOut. This command will not make you lose what your character already gained in your Adventure.

Dying will not let your character receive something from that fight and won't allow you to complete a specific mission that required to win that specific fight until your character revives to try again. But anything obtained from previous fights/missions in the ongoing Adventure will not be lost if your character dies. When your character revives you will have to fight the opponent(s) that killed you once again. Your character will however always recover all HP and MP before any new fight be it Adventure or not, regardless of your character dying or not, but if it dies in Adventure you will have to wait 24h each time.

Your character can also die accidentally while not fighting any opponent, but that will typically be rarer.

Note: While your character is dead in Adventure you are unable to have Duels (and no one will be able to fight you) as well as Buy/Sell items and magic spells or perform other game activities, but you can still post in the Game Thread. If your character's Guild is in a war your character cannot take part to it while your character is dead. If your character is alive you can perform all game activities even if you are in Adventure.

If your character successfully completes an Adventure you can use the /Adventure command as soon as you wish to start your new Adventure.

You can also have Group Adventures! Use the command /GroupAdventure + selected player(s). The selected players must confirm by using the same command and they must not concurrently be in any other Adventure. Note that Group Adventures can potentially be much harsher than singular ones, expecially if there's a substantial disparity in level and stats/equip, and I will not allow lower level characters to easily gain experience by being helped by other players!

Stats system
Each character has several stats which are:

HP:
MP:
Strenght:
Lethality:
Defence:
Strategy:
Combat speed:
Reaction speed:
Precision:
Magic Power:
Magic Defence:

Increasing level and equipping better and different items and magic spells can increase your character's stats and combat versatility.

The character race you choose affects your character's starting stats and overall progression with them as well as which items and magic spells are available for your character including as it levels up.

Level Up system
You can level up by defeating opponents during Adventures and by completing missions during Adventures as long as you obtained the necessary experience points.

Money system
You can earn money (G = Gold) by defeating opponents during Adventures and by completing missions during Adventures. You can earn money by selling items and magic spells and lose it by buying them instead. You can also earn/lose money in Duels against other players. The players you fight will lose the same money you obtain if you win the fight. You can fight a maximum of 3 players per day, once per each player. The amount of money won from duels will depend on a combination of the amount of money a certain character possessed and RNG.

Item/Magic Spell system
Items and Magic Spells can further improve your character's stats and combat versatility. You can obtain items and magic spells by defeating opponents during Adventures and by completing missions during Adventures. You can also buy/sell items and magic spells from/to a merchant and buy/sell items and magic spells from/to other players if you are eligible to buy/sell them. You can equip items and magic spells by using the command /Equip + selected item/magic spell. You can unequip items and magic spells by using the command /Unequip + selected item/magic spell.

The max number of items and magic spells you can have equipped at the same time and their types will depend on your character's race and level.

Shop system
I will post, from time to time, available items and magic spells that you can purchase from a merchant given the met conditions your character possesses enough money and is eligible to buy them. Use the command /Buy + selected item/magic spell in order to buy it. Use /Sell + selected item/magic spell to sell it. You can also buy/sell items and magic spells from/to other players. Use the command /Buy + selected item/magic spell + selected player or /Sell + selected item/magic spell + selected player as long as it was first agreed upon by both players inside the game thread, including the selling price.

Duel system
You can fight 3 (different) players per day, each once and only if their characters are alive. Use the command /Duel + selected player. I will craft and post the writing piece for the fight, the mechanics of which will be based on a combination of stats and equip + RNG. If your character has a duel, that doesn't affect your character's Adventures/Guild Wars because your HP and MP are restored before your character's next Adventure fight or Guild War, same for any new Duel.

Guild system
You can found your Guild once you reach LV. 30, by using the command /FoundGuild + guild's name. You can invite any player you want. You can use the command /GuildInvite + selected player. To accept an invitation use the command /GuildAccept + selected guild. To leave a guild use the command /GuildOut. If your character is the Guild Leader that command will destroy the guild. If your character is the Guild Leader you can change Guild Leader through the command /NewGuildLeader + selected player.

You can also fight another guild once per week. To do so, if your character is the Guild's Leader, use the command /GuildWar + selected guild. Winning will grant honor to your guild and the loser guild will lose the same amount of honor you gained. I will craft and post the writing piece for the guild war. Every guild starts with 1000 honor points.

Records
The first post of the Game Thread will always feature every single player with their character name, race, gender, level, stats, equipment, money, guild information and other crucial information, and it will be updated everytime it has to be.

Character Deletion
Use the command /DeleteMyCharacter to delete your character. You will have 30 days to revert your decision. You can revert it using the command /RestoreMyCharacter. After the 30 days expired and no reverting occured I will delete all character information and progression from the first post of the Game Thread.

General Info
There's no level cap and no other cap in the game. It's meant to be a continuous adventure, no drawbacks to the fun.

For whatever potential mistake you spot, you can PM me so that the Game Thread isn't unnecessarily spammed, though you can definitely post as much as you want about anything that concerns the game, it's part of the fun. I will provide with the necessary corrections, though I will always be as scrupulous as possible in order to avoid mistakes.

Note that it's not strictly mandatory to use Commands, though they can help keeping the Game Thread cleaner and more structured and increase the classic nostalgic RPG component and the overall flow of the game.

If the game has enough success that it gets out of my control or if I, all of a sudden, can't guarantee enough activity, I will very well accept applications for new Game Master positions so that I have someone who can help me, provided they currently don't have a playable character (and it is fully deleted if they had one), so that game transparency is preserved. If you are really willing to be a Game Master you can apply now as well, but that will prevent you from having a character if you become one, remember.

Note that this game is still in its infancy! I literally ideated it today, it's literally a few hours old... so don't be surprised if there will be updates or changes, however they will be thoroughly discussed before being implemented. I will not take relevant initiatives without a qualitative analysis and without a large consensus. I'm of course open to proposals.

Consider this still in Alpha stage!

Enjoy!
