Paramecia and logias unlike zoans dont really need to consider that or be worried of being taken over

Might explain kaido's obsession with wanting to die. Him not actually wanting to die die but reach the next level
His more beast like form is likely connected to awakening and his 7 previous loses before luffy. Him likely being put close to death by those loses and his attempts of suicide but not fully able to achieve death
Luffy was finally able to awaken after he was killed by kaido. With no one not even momonosuke was able to sense or hear him
The impel down jailer beast being awakened zoans taken over by their fruits might have been "made" by the world government. The wg possibly killing multiple zoan users until they get ones that are finally able to awaken but not strong enough to control it
Lucci might have been awakened in the same way with the wg trying to force him to become one as a test. Either testing his loyalty to them or a specific thing cp0 does. If it's the case kaku might also have some form of awakening too
