zoro used 3 swords with haki throughout the post timeskip. Never had any problem. Only emma sucks his haki out. He can just spread the sucked out haki to the other swords.

Go back to when he got emma. His arm shrunk and shriveled up from emma alone. He didn't even have wado and sandai on his body at the time.

Emma and only Emma sucks and puts him in mortal danger from haki drain.

Think of it this way. If zoro haki is at 100% and he uses emma for a bit. It would be at like 90% or whatever. And he'd still not be at risk of dying. And so the negative effects wouldn't show up. That's true until like 30% or whatever. Then and only then does zoro enter the danger zone of emma sucking. (just an example. not saying that's how it works and those numbers are accurate)

Gaben barely saw zoro use acoc. So he did not get to see the negative effects of prolonged abuse of Emma's sucking. Thus, he thinks zoro can freely use acoc without any side effects. That's why he said that.


But, zoro is getting stronger and getting used to it as well as you said. What i'm saying is, he hasn't necessarily overcame the side effects of Emma suck completely. It should be a slow process.








Mink medicine is magic and was said to restore his health completely. And he had some time between the asura and fighting king. So he most likely regenerated his haki. He was even sleeping between lol.

Unless stated otherwise, zoro was at 100% at the start of king fight due to magic medicine asspull.

First of all, he never specified Ryuo, he just says “haki”

and second of all YOU JUST ANSWERED YOUR OWN ISSUE… He doesn’t know he has CoC… so why would he know to say he’s dying of using coc

I’m saying he’s dying from using CoC BECAUSE HE’S FACTUALLY USING COC… He FACTUALLY IS USING IT… and it’s FACTUALLY KILLING HIM

Your argument only works if you are of the belief that

1. Zoro doesn’t know he has CoC and yet he can isolate the fact that it’s only using Ryuo that’s affecting him

2. For whatever reason, only Ryuo can affect your body from excessive use and supposedly CoC is fine, for some reason you can use CoC endlessly without any stamina limit, somehow

I don’t see how I’m wrong what so ever . My point works because that’s what the story established with haki/ Enma. I don’t feel like grabbing panels so I’ll quote chapters.

1. Chapter 939- we see that luffy is trying to learn a new arnament haki technique. He keeps trying and keeps trying, then luffy says I’ve seen it done before I know it’s the same COLOR OF ARNAMENT haki that I use. Then hyogoro tells us that this HAKI is a foreign concept there is an invisible power that stems from the body and goes into a blade that allows a swordsman to cut or not cut what they want.

Chapter 940- Hyo says to luffy: What you call haki is known as ryou here and it means flowing cherry blossom.

Chapter 955-Enma exudes its user ryou and uses more than is necessary. We see that in this first encounter with Enma that Zoro is tired from using it. We are also told that a normal swords would be a mere husk from using it.

Zoro vs king- During zoro fight with king Enma is quite literally activating on its own and wasting zoros ryou I have not read the fight in a while but I believe it was 3 times Enma acted against zoro. Enma is not pulling out Zoro coc or any other haki it’s wasting his ryou. As this is what the story has established for Enma. This is what is killing him because it is being wasted in excess.



Chapter 1033- Does this mean that even with so much HAKI being drained oden wielded you as if you were light as a feather? How should I stabilize my HAKI then? If I keep having to exude it at this level it will kill me.

Yes zoro says haki, and yes zoro does not specifically say arnament haki nor does he say observation haki nor does he say coc haki, but with context from the story and knowing how ryou has been explained to us and how Enma behaves. We know that what is killing zoro is excessive ryou use he already knows and tells us the reader that if he has to keep exuding his haki(ryou,arnament haki) to please and tame Enma that it will kill him. If Enma never forcibly activates on zoro during the fight then zoro can and would last longer but Enma doing so forced zoros growth and unbeknownst to him zoro going all out with his ryou allowed him to also flow adv coc.

I’m not jumping to conclusions… I literally outlined several instances where your stamina being affected directly affects you haki

do you have any other explanation for why DF users can use haki in seastone if there is supposedly no connection between stamina and Haki?

And I gave you several instances where it doesn't affects at all.

Context of the situation is that Zoro was leaking a ton of haki unknowingly & Gaban remarks that his body is at ease with this. Meaning, his body has adjusted to rapid leakage of his conquerors haki without a sweat now.


This is scary because it means that his haki pool is enormously large, his body has naturally strengthened as a result & he has a load of power just being wasted.
