What do my fellow Zoro fans think will be the most popular route haters will take to discredit the fact Zoro killed Kaido? I tried to compile the most common excuses I have seen prepared thus far and these seem to be the big four excuses so to speak:
1) Enma did all the work.
2) Luffy did all the work.
3) ZKK only happened because Oda is a trash writer.
4) Kaido is super weak all of a sudden, since how else could Zoro kill him?
Will most people still cling to the idea that Odens spirit is hidden within Emma and did the deed for him? It has after all been a staple of the Zoro hater community for some time now.
Will it be that Luffy "softened Kaido up" for Zoro to be able to take him down? Most people have shown an extreme willingness to call the Kaido vs Luffy fight a fair one, despite the fact Luffy lost several times, Kaido had to fight multiple people, and had to lift a whole island up the entire time. But I somehow question people being as generous should Zoro kill Kaido.
Will they perhaps go down the route where they don't use in-universe excuses, but simply focus all their hate towards Oda being a trash author? A hugely popular tactic used by all haters and fans whenever Oda does something they do not like so it might be a bit to general i admit, but it is bound to be a rather popular excuse so I included it.
Or, my personal favorite, will Kaido suddenly become the weakest Yonko ever since Zoro killing him obviously must mean he is super weak? Whenever Zoro winds up doing a feat that was prior to him achieving it thought to be a truly impressive thing (Conquerors, Advanced Conquers, fighting and defeating a YC1 etc) for some weird reason people shit on that previously impressive thing. So, it is truly that crazy to think some people will not automatically downplay Kaido should Zoro kill him? I do not think so.
Several haters will likely leave out of shame, a couple have already bet their account on this after all, but the biggest haters will, as always, stick around. And just wanted some predictions from my fellow ZKK believers what they thought would be the favorite new excuse Zoro haters use going forward why him killing Kaido is not important, impressive and or earned.
A bonus question for ZKK believers: do you personally look forward to the feat itself more, or the sheer amount of cope and cringe coming from the haters?
